Why ByteSewa

Technology is easy to outsource. Accountability isn't.

Plenty of technology work can be done from anywhere, and much of ours is done remotely. What matters is knowing who is responsible for it. With ByteSewa, that's a local engineer who understands your setup and stays with it over time.

  • A local business you can hold to account

ByteSewa is an Australian business based in Sydney, with a published ABN, phone number and a named engineer responsible for your work.

  • Talk to the engineer doing the work

No ticket queue or hand-offs. You deal directly with the person who scopes, delivers and documents your setup.

  • Built around how you work

Recommendations start with your staff, sites, equipment and day-to-day operations. If something isn't needed, or isn't work we do well, we'll tell you.

  • On site when the job needs it

Some work needs hands on equipment. We're on site across Sydney, plan visits further afield, and do the rest remotely.

  • Every account in your name

Your domain, email, website, licences and equipment belong to you, with admin access you can remove any time. No lock-in.

  • Itemised quotes, no markup

A written scope and itemised quote before work begins. You buy hardware and licences directly, so our advice isn't tied to a sale.

Ramesh Gaire, Founder and lead engineer at ByteSewa

Your engineer

Meet Ramesh Gaire

Founder and lead engineer, ByteSewa

Before founding ByteSewa, Ramesh spent more than a decade as a systems and network engineer for enterprises and managed service providers: migrating Microsoft 365 tenants, rolling out Intune, configuring firewalls and Wi-Fi, and setting up stores, offices and studios across multiple sites. ByteSewa is founder-led, so you deal directly with the engineer doing the work.

I believe technology belongs in the owner's hands. Whether you keep it in-house or outsource it, you should always have control of your accounts, data and systems. That's how we set every business up.

Common questions

What size of business do you work with?

Sole traders and tradies through to multi-site businesses, enterprise branch offices and MSPs. Size helps you find the right page; each job is scoped on what's actually involved.

Why choose a Sydney-based technology partner?

You deal directly with the engineer responsible for your setup, under an Australian business with a published ABN, and that knowledge of your setup stays with you over time. Much of the work can still be done remotely. When a job needs hands on equipment, we can be on site across Sydney and plan visits further afield.

Do you work outside Sydney?

Yes. Remote work runs anywhere in Australia. Standard on-site visits cover Sydney within 60 km of the CBD. Regional NSW, interstate and remote-location work is planned and quoted as a project, with travel itemised.

Do you set up offices and studios?

Yes. We set up desks, workstations, screens, shared storage, network and Wi-Fi for new, expanding or relocating offices and studios, planned around your move and documented at handover. New structured cabling, electrical and building work are arranged separately with licensed trades.

Do you supply hardware?

No. You buy hardware and licences directly, so there's no markup. We can recommend options independently, then install and configure them.

Do you offer 24/7 or emergency support?

No. We work business hours, Monday to Friday, on planned work. Urgent or after-hours help can be arranged by agreement, subject to availability, and is quoted first.

Can you work alongside our MSP or IT team?

Yes. We work as extra hands on site, to your engineers' plans, and hand back clear notes, photos and test results.

How do I get started?

Send an enquiry; no meeting needed. If you'd rather talk, book a 15-minute call. Either way, you get a written scope and quote before any work begins.
